The roughness is also displayed in classes and groups for easier identification.

The Elcometer 129 Rugotest Surface Comparator (RUG3) includes the shot and grit blasted versions on the same test block.

Profiles are labelled: N6, N7, N8, N9, N10 and N11 (equivalent to 0.8, 1.6, 3.2, 6.3, 12.5 and 25 micron roughness averages respectively)
