Elcometer 116 Whirling and Sling Hygrometers

    • A loud audio tone and a clear analogue meter for quick accurate scanning. There is no need to keep re-zeroing the instrument in use.
  • High resolution controlled field search head.
    • The strongest signal is right in the centre of the search head so rebar plus rebar detectors are accurate even when working at very close reinforcement bar centres or near metal objects, for example close to scaffolding or metal window frames
  • Versatile instrument.
    • Supplied with a standard 4A head it will also accept the 6S head and Bore Hole Probe (Tendon Duct Locator) for locating rebars and locating tendon ducts at great depths. Ideal and adaptable concrete rebar locators, designed for professional users. Imperial versions are also available.
  • Designed with the needs of the operator in mind.

Borehole probe tendon duct locator

The Elcometer 330 (Protovale CM9) covermeter is fully compatibility with our Borehole Probe, enabling the CM9 covermeter to detect tendon ducts behind layer after layer of rebar.

 

The rebar plus can also indicate depth of concrete cover. However for more accurate measurement we recommend either the Elcometer 330 (Protovale CM9) cover meter or Elcometer 350 (Protovale CM52) covermeter as they are specifically designed for this purpose and thus more accurate than rebar locators.
