The 6S non-ferrous detectionhead The field from a 6S head is arranged to strike the flat surface of a non-magnetic (stainless steel or phosphor bronze) wall tie to induce eddy currents which are then used to pinpoint the wall tie.

  • High-impact ABS control unit in tough leather case for years of use
  • Includes standard 4A (ferrous) and 6S (non-ferrous) detection heads
  • 'S' version Imp control unit is switchable to detect or ignore stainless steel
  • S' version can also find wiring in plaster walls
  • Search coils encapsulated in epoxy resin for unmatched ruggedness
  • High-grade TNC plug and socket for connecting search head and electronics
  • Single control knob for on/off and sensitivity/backoff control
