General
The Spark Tester Holiday Generator generates pulses at a nominal 30Hz which
are transformed within the probe handle to 35KV peak max. The current
levels indicating holidays are detected to trigger the Audible and Visual
Alarm circuit, which remains on for approximately 1 second. The all-silicon
transistor circuitry is operated from a regular voltage supply, ensuring
a constant H.V output, until the "LOW BATT." Lamp illuminates.
At this stage the battery voltage is 20 percent low and necessitates recharging.
