Important : Abnormally high readings may be caused by the surface salts on newly plastered walls or by contact with metal or steel reinforcing bars, etc behind a particular surface. Readings on concrete should be interpreted with caution and should be assessed in conjunction with a physical investigation. The test meter may indicate damp conditions at very low levels of moisture on concrete.
