Terms & Conditions

Draft for client review - these are standard trading terms for an instrument-distribution and calibration business. BAMR should have them reviewed and confirmed (warranty periods, payment terms and governing-law specifics) before publication.

These terms govern the supply of goods and services by BAMR (Pty) Ltd (“BAMR”) to you. By requesting a quote, placing an order, or using our calibration, repair, training or hire services, you agree to these terms.

Quotations and orders

Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation and are subject to stock availability at the time of order. Prices are exclusive of VAT and delivery unless otherwise stated. An order is accepted once we confirm it in writing.

Pricing and payment

Payment terms are as set out on your quotation or invoice. Goods remain the property of BAMR until paid for in full. We reserve the right to adjust quoted prices for currency movements or supplier price changes prior to acceptance, with prior notice to you.

Delivery

Delivery dates and lead times are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Calibration and service

Calibration is performed to the standard and traceability stated on the relevant certificate. Service and repair work is carried out with reasonable skill and care; where a fault falls outside the original scope of work, we will advise you before proceeding.

Warranty

Instruments are covered by the manufacturer's warranty for the applicable period. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions. Consumables and calibration drift are excluded.

Returns

Please inspect goods on receipt and notify us promptly of any shortage, damage or defect. Returns are accepted only by prior arrangement and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Equipment hire

Hired equipment remains the property of BAMR and must be returned in the condition in which it was supplied, fair wear and tear excepted. You are responsible for loss of or damage to hired equipment while it is in your possession.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, BAMR's liability arising out of the supply of goods or services is limited to the value of the relevant order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
