The Leica Disto D2 Laser Distance Meter is a seven-mode laser distance meter with Bluetooth, an ISO-certified measuring engine driving plus or minus 1.5mm accuracy and a 100m range, in a 100g package small enough to fit in a pocket. The Leica Disto D2 Laser Distance Meter gives quick, reliable site measurement for distances, areas and volumes, replacing the tape measure and reaching targets that are not directly accessible.
A fully integrated multifunctional end piece lets the Leica Disto D2 Laser Distance Meter measure accurately from corners, grooves or edges; the position of the end piece is detected automatically and taken into account, which prevents costly measuring errors. Combined with the Min/Max function, the end piece reaches into corners for accurate diagonal measurements. The instrument adds and subtracts, calculates area and volume, includes a Pythagoras function for indirect height or width measurements, and stores the last 10 results.
The range of the Leica Disto D2 Laser Distance Meter is 0.2 to 100m, with a target plate recommended beyond about 80m, an accuracy of plus or minus 1.5mm, and a laser dot of 6, 30 or 60mm with distance. Bluetooth Smart sends measurements to the free Leica DISTO sketch app on a smartphone or tablet for dimensioned sketches and pictures, with free Windows software and apps for iOS and Android. The Leica Disto D2 Laser Distance Meter runs on 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries for up to 10,000 measurements and around 20 hours, is IP54 rated, measures 116 x 44 x 26mm and weighs 100g with batteries.
