The Elcometer 6210 RAL Colour Charts are a system of reference colours that allow many industrial products to be identified, compared and classified against a known standard. When colour has to be matched or specified across suppliers and production runs, a shared reference set removes the ambiguity of verbal descriptions and keeps results consistent, which is why standardised colour charts underpin much industrial colour control. Please note that the Elcometer 6210 has been discontinued.

The charts were available either as compact colour charts or as separate sheets in different sizes, with or without colourmetric identification, supplied separately or in groups in a file or a box. They are suited for use with the Elcometer 6300 Colour Assessment Cabinets, which provide controlled lighting so that colours are judged under consistent viewing conditions rather than under variable ambient light.

Used across coatings, manufacturing and quality control where reference colour matching is required, the Elcometer 6210 RAL Colour Charts were supplied by BAMR, South Africa's authorised Elcometer distributor. As this model has been discontinued, contact BAMR for advice on a current replacement.
