The Leica Disto D210 Laser Distance Meter is a compact, entry-level laser distance meter for rapid, reliable site measurement, now discontinued. It replaces the measuring tape for everyday tasks, with addition, subtraction, and area and volume calculations that cover the common measurements needed on site, while staying simple to use.

The D210 measures with an accuracy of plus or minus 1.0mm over a range of up to 80m, with a laser dot of 6, 30 or 60mm depending on distance. An automatic multi-functional end piece detects its own position to keep measurements from corners, slots and edges accurate and free of error. Power Range Technology supports targeting, and an illuminated three-line display keeps results readable, even in the dark.

The instrument stores the last 10 results, runs on 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries for up to 5000 measurements, and is IP54 rated for dust and splash water protection. Its compact, soft-grip housing measures 114 x 50 x 27mm and weighs 126g with batteries. This model has been discontinued. BAMR, South Africa's authorised distributor, can advise on a current laser distance meter to replace it.
