The Elcometer Blast Machine Cover Lid is a steel lid that fits over the top of an abrasive blast machine to keep water out. Water ingress into a blast pot causes abrasive to clump and absorb moisture, which leads to blockages and inconsistent blasting, so a well-fitted cover keeps the abrasive dry and the machine working reliably between uses.
Manufactured from durable 6 mm high quality steel for years of service, the Elcometer Blast Machine Cover Lid is built to sit outside the rim of the blast machine rather than inside it, so rain and washdown water run off the edge instead of collecting on the abrasive. The Blast Machine Cover Lid is available in a range of sizes to fit all Elcometer blast machines, with blast machine diameters of 254 mm (LID-10), 356 mm (LID-14), 508 mm (LID-20) and 610 mm (LID-24).
