The Cast Iron Coupling Safety Clip (part number MT28890) is a set of Elcometer springlock safety clips supplied in three pairs for use with cast iron couplings. The clips lock a coupling connection in place so that the joint cannot work loose during blasting operations.

Abrasive blasting runs at high pressure, and a coupling that separates under load is a serious hazard to the operator and anyone nearby. The springlock design holds the coupling halves together once engaged, keeping the connection secure for the duration of the job and reducing the risk of accidental disconnection.
