About this product

The Elcometer Certified 13mm Pressure Relief Valve (part numbers MT28606, MT28606N, MT28607 and MT28607N) is a safety valve fitted to abrasive blast machine systems to discharge compressed air when pressure reaches the crack point. Pressure relief valves must be incorporated into the blast machine system to meet global safety standards, since an over-pressurised machine presents a serious hazard to operators and equipment.

The Certified 13mm Pressure Relief Valve fits easily to the air manifold mounted on the RCV4000+ remote control valve. When pressure in the machine rises to the rated crack pressure, the valve opens and releases the compressed air, preventing the system from exceeding safe working limits.

The range covers two maximum working pressures and two thread standards. The MT28606 and MT28606N are rated to a maximum working pressure of 12bar; the MT28607 and MT28607N are rated to 15bar. BSP-threaded versions (MT28606, MT28607) suit PED installations, while the NPT / NPSM versions (MT28606N, MT28607N) suit ASME installations. Choose the thread type and pressure rating to match your blast machine setup.
