
Designed 2 Fit (D2F) Lenses and Tear Off Visors are replacement visor lens systems for abrasive blasting helmets, manufactured in Great Britain. The range for the Designed 2 Fit covers middle lenses, outer lenses and tear off lenses sized to fit the GVS RPB Nova 3 and Nova 2000, the Clemco Apollo 600 and Apollo 60, and the Honeywell Commander supplied air respirators. The Designed 2 Fit lenses are compatible with, but not manufactured or approved by, the original equipment manufacturer. In blasting work, abrasive media quickly scratches and clouds a visor, so a layered, replaceable lens system keeps the operator's vision clear and protected and reduces downtime.
The middle lens of the Designed 2 Fit is 0.5mm PETG, chosen for strength, high impact resistance and optical clarity as the core protective layer that deflects debris and particles. The outer lens is 175 micron Mylar polyester, a thinner first line of defence against abrasives, dust and wear. The 200 micron tear off lenses sit on top and are peeled away one at a time to restore clear vision instantly during blasting. All three layers are lightweight and recyclable. The Commander range is supplied with outer lenses only.
Designed 2 Fit lenses are sold by helmet model and pack, for example part number D2F-N3-M-100 (100 Nova 3 middle lenses) and D2F-N3-T-6 (six Nova 3 tear off lenses). Used across the surface preparation and blasting industry, and supplied by BAMR, South Africa's authorised distributor.

Which blast helmets are these lenses compatible with?
D2F lenses are listed for the Nova 3, Nova 2000, Apollo 600 and Apollo 60 blast helmets. A separate outer lens range covers the Commander blast helmet.
What materials are the middle and outer lenses made from?
Middle lenses are 0.5mm PETG. Outer lenses are 175 micron PE, except the Commander outer, which is available in either 2mm polycarbonate or 175 micron PE. Tear-off lenses are 200 micron.
How many lenses come in a pack?
Pack sizes vary by lens type. Middle lenses typically come in packs of 100, outer lenses in packs of 500 (five packs of 100), and tear-off lenses in packs of 6. Commander outer lenses come in packs of 50 or 100.
Are these lenses approved by the original helmet manufacturer?
No. D2F lenses are manufactured in Great Britain as compatible replacements. They are not manufactured or approved by the original equipment manufacturer.
