The Elcometer 13mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Assembly with Nozzle Holder and Quick Coupling (BH13NFSB-5 / BH13NFSB-10 / BH13NFSN-5 / BH13NFSN-10) is an abrasive blast hose assembly with a 13mm internal diameter, supplied complete with a nylon nozzle holder and a cast iron quick coupling with 3/4 inch fine threads. The Elcometer 13mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Assembly is available in 5m or 10m lengths and carries a maximum working pressure of 12bar with a three times safety margin. A correctly specified, anti-static blast hose protects the operator from static shock and resists the abrasion that wears hoses out in service.

The hose of the Elcometer 13mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Assembly is built around an anti-static, abrasion resistant inner wall made from a natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, giving an abrasion resistance value of 50mm cubed in accordance with DIN53516 and an anti-static rating of R less than 10 to the sixth ohms per metre, which dissipates static electricity to ground. A 2-ply braid reinforcement of highly woven cord linings in a cross pattern improves hose strength while keeping it flexible, and the tough outer cover of abrasion resistant, anti-static rubber with a cloth impression resists weather and prolongs hose life.

The Elcometer 13mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Assembly has an outside diameter of 28mm and a minimum bend radius of 105mm. The four part numbers differ only by length and quick coupling thread standard: the BH13NFSB options use BSP threads and the BH13NFSN options use NPT / NPSM threads, both supplied with cast iron quick couplings and nylon nozzle holders.
