The Elcometer 15bar Blast Hose (BH32X / BH38X) is an anti-static abrasive blast hose supplied in 40m lengths and rated to a maximum working pressure of 15bar, available in two internal diameters to suit a blast project.
A blast hose carries abrasive at high pressure and velocity, so it must resist internal wear, contain the pressure safely, and dissipate the static charge that builds up as media moves through it. A static discharge can injure the operator, and a hose that wears through or kinks loses pressure and stops the job. The Elcometer 15bar Blast Hose addresses these with an abrasion-resistant, anti-static inner wall made from a natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, giving an abrasion resistance value of 50mm cubed to DIN53516 and an anti-static rating of R less than 10 to the power 6 ohms per metre, which conducts the static charge to ground. A two-ply cross-braid cord reinforcement adds strength while keeping the hose flexible, and a tough, weather-resistant outer cover prolongs its life.
The BH32X has a 32mm internal diameter, 48mm outside diameter and 256mm minimum bend radius; the BH38X has a 38mm internal diameter, 56mm outside diameter and 304mm minimum bend radius. Both are 40m long, rated to 15bar working pressure with a 45bar maximum burst pressure, and operate from -30 to +85 degrees C.

The Elcometer Blast Hose is available in anti-static 40m lengths with a number of hose diameters, in 15bar pressure to meet the needs of your blast project.
- Tough Outer Cover Elcometer blast hoses are manufactured using abrasion resistant and anti-static natural and styrene-butadiene rubber with a cloth impression, the tough weather resistant cover prolongs the life of the blast hose.
- 2 Ply Braid Reinforcement Elcometer's blast hose features highly woven cord linings in a 2 ply cross pattern to improve blast hose strength and allow flexibility.
- Anti-Static and Abrasion Resistant Inner Wall The Elcometer blast hose is manufactured out of natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, has an abrasion resistance value of 50mm³ in accordance with DIN53516 and has an anti-static rating (R) of R<10⁶ Ω/m. This dissipates static electricity to the ground to protect the blaster from injuries caused by a static shock.
