The Elcometer 25mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension (part numbers BH25SB-10 through BH25NN-20) is a length of abrasive blast hose with quick couplings, used to extend a blast hose run when the existing hose cannot reach the area being worked. Rather than dragging the whole blast pot closer, an operator adds an extension and keeps blasting, which matters on tank floors, structures and pipelines where access is awkward.

The Elcometer 25mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension has a 25mm (1 inch) internal diameter, a 38mm (1.5 inch) outside diameter and a 200mm minimum bend radius, with a maximum working pressure of 12bar (174psi) carrying a three times safety margin. The Elcometer 25mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension is offered in 10m and 20m lengths and with either nylon or cast iron quick couplings, supplied complete with a twinline pneumatic remote control hose and two quick couplings.

The inner wall of the Elcometer 25mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension is a natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, giving an abrasion resistance of 50mm cubed to DIN53516 and an anti-static rating of R<10 to the 6 ohm/m, which dissipates static to ground and protects the operator from static shock. A two ply braid reinforcement adds strength and flexibility, while the weather resistant outer cover prolongs hose life.
