The Elcometer 32mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension is an abrasive blast hose extension used to reach areas a main blast hose cannot, with an internal diameter of 32mm and a maximum working pressure of 12bar carrying a three times safety margin. It is available in 10m and 20m lengths.

On a blast site, the work location is often beyond the reach of the existing hose run, and extending it must be done without compromising pressure rating or operator safety. Each extension comes complete with the blast hose, a twinline pneumatic remote control hose and two quick couplings, supplied with either nylon or cast iron couplings and with BSP or NPT/NPSM threads, giving eight configurations across the part number range (BH32SB, BH32NB, BH32NN and BH32SN in 10m and 20m).

The inner wall is manufactured from a natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, giving an abrasion resistance value of 50mm cubed in accordance with DIN53516 and an anti-static rating of R less than 10 to the power 6 ohms per metre, which dissipates static electricity to ground to protect the blaster from static shock injuries. A 2 ply braid reinforcement of woven cord in a cross pattern improves strength while keeping the hose flexible, and the tough weather resistant outer cover is made from abrasion resistant and anti-static rubber with a cloth impression to prolong hose life. The Elcometer 32mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension has an outside diameter of 48mm and a minimum bend radius of 260mm.
