The Elcometer BALTIC Air Assisted Airless Pumps are air assisted airless (mix) piston spray pumps for wood workshops and metal fabricators that need a high quality finish at fast application rates. Air assisted airless combines the high transfer rate of airless with the fine atomisation of air spray, so it lays down a smooth finish quickly while keeping overspray and material waste down, which is what a busy workshop or production line depends on.
The Elcometer BALTIC Air Assisted Airless Pumps are built to be durable and easy to maintain, with stainless steel balls, tungsten carbide and stainless steel ball seats, a hard chrome stainless steel piston, polyamide seats and self-adjusting packings. An anti-pulse chamber with a stainless steel 80 mesh filter helps prevent spray tip blockages and keeps spraying smooth, and multiple particle filters sit in the suction hose, the pump and the spray gun. Robust gauges and precision regulators cover both the pump and the spray gun, and the lower can be serviced quickly with standard workshop tools.
Three ratios are offered for the Elcometer BALTIC Air Assisted Airless Pumps: BALTIC 15 at 15:1, BALTIC 30 at 30:1 and BALTIC 32 at 32:1 (part numbers PSP15AAA-T, PSP30AAA-T and PSP32AAA-T, with Sagola Mini Xtreme Mix gun packages also available). Higher ratios allow larger spray tips up to 0.45mm, better fan patterns, longer fluid hoses and less pulsing. Maximum fluid outlet working pressure runs 91, 215 and 226bar across the three models, with maximum spray tip sizes of 0.45, 0.33 and 0.45mm. All Elcometer BALTIC Air Assisted Airless Pumps handle solvent and water-based products, take a fluid up to 0.25mm particle size, work over a 4.4 to 60 degrees C fluid range, run on 1 to 7bar air and have a stable, boltable 543mm x 527mm footprint. Each Elcometer BALTIC Air Assisted Airless Pump fits a rugged trolley with a built-in hose and gun rack, or can be unbolted for wall mounting with a suction hose or gravity fed hopper. Which BALTIC model should I choose for my application?
The BALTIC 15 reaches 91 bar at 2.7 litres per minute. The BALTIC 30 reaches 215 bar at 1.8 litres per minute. The BALTIC 32 reaches 226 bar at 2.7 litres per minute. Select based on your required pressure and output volume for your specific coating type.
Can the pump handle both water-based and solvent-based products?
All three BALTIC models accept both solvent-based and water-based coatings. Choose the model based on your pressure and volume requirements, regardless of product type.
What compressor capacity do I need?
The BALTIC 15 requires 25.08 litres per minute. The BALTIC 30 requires 31.12 litres per minute. The BALTIC 32 requires 29.3 litres per minute, all at 1-7 bar air pressure. Ensure your compressor delivers the required flow rate for your chosen model.
Can the pump be wall-mounted or is it cart-only?
The BALTIC is available in both wall-mount and cart-mount configurations, with dimensions of 516 mm height for wall-mount and 999 mm for cart-mount.
What is the maximum particle size in the coating?
The pump can process fluid with a maximum particle size of 0.25 mm (10 mils). Larger particles risk damage to internal components.
What is the operating temperature range?
