The Elcometer Hudson Transfer Pumps (part numbers PTP160SAS, PTP160LAS, PSP160LAS-C and PSP160LAS-C-RA) are stainless steel piston transfer pumps built to move solvent and water based fluids containing particles up to 5 mm. The Elcometer Hudson Transfer Pumps handle a broad range of materials, from hot or highly viscous fluids to corrosive liquids, and the high flow rate combined with an immersed inlet makes them well suited to priming and transferring fluids out of drums and vessels.

The Elcometer Hudson Transfer Pump runs at a 1:1 ratio with a maximum free flow of 60 litres per minute, a free flow delivery of 15 litres per minute at 60 cycles per minute, a stroke length of 85 mm and an output of 170 cc per cycle. The fluid inlet is 1 inch BSP female and the outlet is 1/2 inch BSP male, with a maximum fluid outlet working pressure of 7 bar. Fluid temperature range is 4.4 to 60 degrees Celsius. Top and bottom valves, the stainless steel ball and seat, and the pump body of the Elcometer Hudson Transfer Pump are stainless steel to resist wear with corrosive fluids, and a PTFE carbon and stainless steel packing seal kit keeps maintenance low. An integrated wet cup and Throat Seal Liquid prevent moisture ingress into the fluid.

The air motor of the Elcometer Hudson Transfer Pump operates between 1 and 7 bar with low air consumption, around 3.75 litres per minute at 3 bar and 7.5 cycles per minute, helping to lower compressor running costs. The Elcometer Hudson Transfer Pump is lightweight at 6.5 kg for the short shaft and 7.0 kg for the long, with a removable cylinder housing to switch between large drums and smaller vessels, and it is available with a 200 litre drum lid and rotary agitator.
