The Elcometer RCV4000 Exhaust Silencer complete with Metal Silencer Cartridge (PED part number MT28597, ASME part number MT28597N) reduces the noise level of compressed air as it exhausts from an abrasive blast machine. During depressurisation a blast machine vents a large volume of compressed air, producing a loud and abrupt discharge, and the silencer brings this noise under control on site.

The Elcometer RCV4000 Exhaust Silencer is a rugged silencer that accepts a choice of plastic or metal replacement silencer cartridges, this version being supplied with the metal cartridge. The Elcometer RCV4000 Exhaust Silencer is quick to dismantle for servicing, so cartridges and internal parts can be inspected or replaced with minimal downtime in the field.
