The Elcometer RCV4000+ Remote Control Valve 32mm (PED part number RCV4000P-125B, ASME part number RCV4000P-125N) is a pneumatic remote control valve that incorporates two valves in one unit, the lower controlling the compressed air inlet and the upper controlling the exhaust outlet as air exits the abrasive blast machine. The Elcometer RCV4000+ Remote Control Valve 32mm allows the operator to control and depressurise the blast machine from the nozzle, which is central to safe abrasive blasting.
Control is by a pneumatic deadman's handle connected to 6mm inlet and outlet ports on the side of the Elcometer RCV4000+ Remote Control Valve 32mm through two airline hoses, known as twinline. Closing the deadman's lever activates both valves simultaneously, and releasing it deactivates the RCV4000+ immediately. A red safety petcock on the valve body provides emergency depressurisation of the system.
The Elcometer RCV4000+ Remote Control Valve 32mm comes with an integrated air manifold offering multiple air outlets for ancillary equipment such as pressure gauges, ball vibration units to fluidise the media flow, and air supply for a breathe air filter and pressure relief valve. The Elcometer RCV4000+ Remote Control Valve 32mm is available in three versions: 19mm for the Elcometer 1020 Blast Machine, 38mm for larger Elcometer blast machines, and this 32mm version for other blast machines. What do the two valve sections in the RCV4000+ actually control?

What's the difference between the RCV4000P-125B and RCV4000P-125N?
The 125B's spares are the BSP-labelled parts, such as Male Adaptor MT30022 and Reducing Bush MT28594. The 125N uses the equivalent parts under N-suffixed part numbers (MT30022N, MT28594N) without the BSP designation, so order spares against the SKU you actually have.
What's included in RCV Service Kit 1, and when would I need it?
Service Kit 1 (MT30055) bundles the O Ring BS4518, Rubber Valve Seat, Gasket 90mm OD x 52mm ID, Piston Lip Seal 38 x 50 x 6, and O Ring 3.53 Cord x 23.29 ID, the main seals and gaskets in the valve. It covers routine reseal work in one kit rather than ordering each part separately.
What does RCV Service Kit 4 cover?
Service Kit 4 (MT28605 / MT28605N) contains the 1/4 inch Square Head BSP ST/ST Plug and the 1/2 inch BSP Plug Solid. It is a smaller kit than Kit 1, covering just these two plugs rather than the main seal set.
Which standard do the RCV4000+'s O-rings comply with?

Is a tool included for servicing the RCV4000+?
