The Flat Valve 45 Degree Mixer is a replacement abrasive mixer for Elcometer flat valve (FV) blast machines, used to feed blast media into the air stream during abrasive blasting. The mixer is the point at which abrasive meets compressed air, so an efficient, hard-wearing unit keeps media flow steady and protects the part from the heavy erosion that blast media causes. The Flat Valve 45 Degree Mixer is rubber lined for extra wear protection and is angled to direct the media into the flow of air effectively.

The Flat Valve 45 Degree Mixer is suitable for all Elcometer blast machines except the Elcometer 1020. The range for the Flat Valve 45° Mixer covers several fittings to match different machine connections: the Forged Nipple 3000lb for use with the Elcometer FV, in 32mm BSP thread (part number MT30009) and NPT/NPSM thread (MT30009N); the 45 Degree Y rubber-lined unit for the Elcometer FV, in 32mm BSP thread (MT28562) and NPT/NPSM thread (MT28562N); and the Male 60 Degree Cone x 1 1/4 inch Male Adaptor for the Elcometer FV, in 38mm universal (MT30019). All are flat valve (FV) type.
