The Protimeter BLE (BLD2025) is a compact, battery-powered Bluetooth Low Energy environmental logger that measures and records relative humidity, temperature and moisture content in wood and other building materials. The Protimeter BLE is used to track conditions in a structure over time without an inspector needing to stand at the meter.

Drying and storage problems are easy to miss when readings are only taken on a single visit: humidity swings and rising moisture content in timber or building fabric can drive material failure that a one-off check will not reveal. The Protimeter BLE logs up to 1,000 readings at intervals set by the user, so trends are captured continuously and reviewed later. Pairing is by simple Bluetooth, and logged data is viewed remotely through the Protimeter BLE App, with a wireless range of up to 10m depending on the surrounding building structure.

Relative humidity is read across 0 to 100% non-condensing, with +/-2% accuracy between 20 and 80% RH. Moisture content is accurate to +/-1% across 8 to 30% WME, and +/-3% outside that range. The Protimeter BLE measures 53mm x 67mm x 23mm, weighs 0.06kg and carries an IP65 rating against dust and water jets. The Protimeter BLE operates from -20°C to +50°C and runs on a replaceable CR2450 battery, with battery life depending on the logging interval set in the app.
