The BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester uses professional ultraviolet fluorescent lamps, advanced intelligent irradiance controller, and newly upgraded temperature and humidity control system. The BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester can accurately simulate various outdoor environmental conditions such as sun light, rain, condensation, high humidity in darkness, and high temperature and dryness. In addition, the reasonable spatial layout makes the distribution of irradiance, temperature, and humidity more uniform and stable, helping you to accurately and quickly evaluate the durability and stability of parts and materials.
The working principle of BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester is to simulate the ultraviolet portion of sunlight using fluorescent UV lamps. The irradiance intensity can be adjusted by controlling the lamp power, number of lamps, and the distance between the lamps and the test specimens. Meanwhile, the BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester is equipped with a heating system, as well as condensation and water spray systems, enabling precise control of temperature and humidity to reproduce the variations of temperature and moisture found in natural environments. Under ultraviolet exposure, materials undergo photochemical reactions, thereby accelerating the aging process. Through cyclic testing, the BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester simulates the changes of materials under different environmental conditions, allowing evaluation of their durability and aging performance.

When to use the BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester
Choose the BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester for accelerated laboratory weathering of coatings and materials under fluorescent UV, condensation and water spray.
- 1Accelerated UV weathering to the fluorescent UV standardsThe BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester cycles fluorescent UV light with condensation and water spray to reproduce sunlight, rain and dew in the lab. That is the method behind ISO 4892-3, ASTM G154, ISO 11507 and ASTM D4587, so a lab can age coatings and materials in weeks rather than waiting on outdoor exposure.
- 2Matching the lamp to the test methodThe BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester takes UVA-340 lamps (315-400nm, 0.3-1.55W/m²) or UVB-313 lamps (290-315nm, 0.3-1.35W/m²), with irradiance controlled automatically and calibratable. The lamp type is set by the standard you are testing to, and both are available as replacement lamps (BEVS 3380/P/010 to /P/021).
- 3Testing many specimens under recorded, controlled conditionsThe BEVS Multifunction UV Weather Tester holds 48 standard specimens (L150 x H70mm) on 24 holders. It automatically controls blackboard temperature, chamber temperature and humidity, and displays irradiance, temperature, humidity and test time in real time. Results can be exported, the tester can be run remotely, and it identifies faults automatically.
