The control amplifier gives ±20 V compliance at 1 A with five speed settings.
The separation is in impedance work. EIS runs from 10 µHz to 20 kHz at a quoted 99% impedance accuracy, against 2 MHz on the Interface 1010E, so this is the variant to specify when the impedance measurements stay below 20 kHz. Electrometer bandwidth is >10 MHz and CMRR is >80 dB at 10 kHz, both below the 1010E figures. Input impedance is >10^12 Ω.
It takes 2, 3 or 4 cell connections, floats clear of earth ground, and weighs 2.4 kg.
