
The Gamry Interface 1010E is a potentiostat, galvanostat and zero resistance ammeter (ZRA) for the electrochemistry laboratory. Gamry lists it as the general purpose instrument of the Interface 1010 range, so it is the variant to specify when the work is not narrowed to a single technique.
It carries the widest envelope of the three 1010 variants. Maximum current is ±1 A across 9 current ranges (10 nA to 1 A, or 11 ranges with internal gain applied), maximum applied potential is ±12 V, and minimum current resolution is 3.3 fA. EIS runs from 10 µHz to 2 MHz, which is the clearest separation from the Interface 1010B and Interface 1010T: both of those stop at 20 kHz.
The control amplifier gives ±20 V compliance at 1 A with five speed settings. The electrometer has an input impedance of >10^12 Ω, an input current below 20 pA, bandwidth above 15 MHz and CMRR above 86 dB at 10 kHz.
It takes 2, 3 or 4 cell connections, floats clear of earth ground, and weighs 2.4 kg.
