
The Gamry Interface 1010T is a potentiostat, galvanostat and zero resistance ammeter (ZRA) built for teaching laboratories. Gamry lists it as the entry-level instrument of the Interface 1010 range.
It has the smallest envelope of the three variants, which is the point: it covers undergraduate and demonstration electrochemistry without the cost of the wider-range models. Maximum current is ±100 mA across 6 current ranges (1 µA to 100 mA, or 8 ranges from 10 nA with internal gain applied), maximum applied potential is ±5 V, and minimum current resolution is 0.3 pA. The general purpose Interface 1010E reaches ±1 A and ±12 V by comparison.
EIS runs from 10 µHz to 20 kHz at a quoted 99% impedance accuracy, against 2 MHz on the Interface 1010E. Minimum time base is 1 ms, so the fastest transient work belongs on one of the other variants. The electrometer has an input impedance of >10^12 Ω, bandwidth above 10 MHz and CMRR above 80 dB at 10 kHz.
It takes 2, 3 or 4 cell connections, floats clear of earth ground, and weighs 2.4 kg.
