Cathodic disbondment testing is a critical accelerated lifespan test used to evaluate coatings on underground metal pipelines. The Top Hex 4 Channel Cathodic Disbondment Tester allows these tests to be carried out in the laboratory to evaluate the performance of barrier coatings on pipeline samples, and supports a wide range of international test standards.
The Top Hex 4 Channel Cathodic Disbondment Tester runs 4 independent tests, all simultaneously, with data logged to non-volatile flash memory within the unit. Tests can be configured via the built-in graphical touchscreen or through the CDT PC software, which is also used to extract the data.
Every Top Hex tester is manufactured in-house in the UK. All Top Hex products are provided with a one year warranty, and Top Hex offers a lifetime repair guarantee on equipment that is out of warranty.
Top Hex 4 Channel Cathodic Disbondment Tester
A cathodic disbondment tester for accelerated lifespan testing of barrier coatings on pipeline samples. Four independent channels run simultaneously, with data logged to non-volatile memory and extracted using the CDT PC software.
- Constant voltage testing: the applied voltage is adjusted automatically to maintain a constant reference voltage (e.g. 1.5V) within a defined tolerance (commonly +/-5mV).
- Constant current testing: the applied voltage is adjusted automatically to maintain the required constant current.
- Manual test mode, constant voltage or constant current.
- Test duration up to 999 days, or continuous.
- Date and time, reference voltage and current logged to non-volatile memory for every test.
