The Leica Disto X4 Laser Distance Meter is a laser distance meter built for bright, outdoor environments, where a red laser point is hard to see and conventional meters struggle to aim. The Leica Disto X4 Laser Distance Meter solves that by adding a pointfinder camera with 4x zoom: line up the measurement point in the on-display crosshairs on the full colour, high-resolution screen and take a precise reading even in strong sunlight.

The Leica Disto X4 Laser Distance Meter improves on the X3 with the pointfinder camera and an auto-rotating display, and includes an on-board tilt sensor for Smart Horizontal mode and automatic levelling. The Leica Disto X4 Laser Distance Meter measures up to 150m with a typical accuracy of plus or minus 1mm and a laser dot of 6, 30 or 60mm with distance. Rugged construction makes it IP65 rated for water jet protection and dust-tight, and 2-metre drop tested, so it withstands tough jobsite conditions. Functions include minimum and maximum, area and volume, the painter function, Pythagoras, Smart Horizontal Mode, stake-out, and subtraction and addition, with memory for 30 displays.

Bluetooth transfers measurements to a computer or mobile device for use with the DISTO Plan App, where Sketch, Document and Smart Room features create CAD-ready floor and wall plans exported as .DXF or .DWG files. With the DST 360 smart tripod and adapter set, the Leica Disto X4 Laser Distance Meter becomes a measurement station that combines rotation, angle and distance for accurate Point-to-Point measurements. The Leica Disto X4 Laser Distance Meter runs on 2 x 1.5V AA batteries for up to 5000 measurements, measures 143 x 58 x 29mm and weighs 198g with batteries.
