DakMaster Data Management Software is Dakota's reporting and quality-assurance application for managing the data collected by ultrasonic thickness gauges. The value of an inspection is not just in taking readings but in what happens to the data afterwards. Inspectors can spend up to 30% of a working week producing reports; DakMaster shortens that by generating professional, bespoke reports in seconds, even on site.

Connecting a gauge is handled by a gauge wizard that downloads data over Bluetooth or USB. Measurements from the full range of Dakota ultrasonic gauges can be imported and combined, and existing reports can be scanned in, with data dragged and dropped into place before saving and printing. Data is stored in a simple file tree organised by project and inspection type. On-screen analysis covers histograms, statistics, measurements, limits, notes, diagrams and photographs, and results export directly to Microsoft Excel, .csv, .txt and Cqatk formats to save time and avoid keying errors.

Reports are generated instantly from standard or pre-designed templates, with no manual data manipulation; connect the gauge, download and drag and drop. Output can be exported, printed, saved as a .pdf or emailed at the click of a button, and multi-site access is available through secure cloud computing.
