The Dakota Wireless Apps are free mobile applications that give full control of a Dakota gauge from an Android device. The Dakota Wireless Apps are used with the BT wireless module option installed in the ZX and PZX gauge models, removing the need to operate the gauge by hand when it is positioned in an awkward or hard to reach location during thickness inspection.
The Dakota Wireless Apps communicate with the gauge through Dakota's embedded Remote Commander firmware, so the operator can drive gauge functions remotely from a phone or tablet. This is useful where the inspector cannot see or reach the gauge display directly, for example when the unit is mounted on or near the test surface.
The Dakota Wireless Apps are compatible with Android devices only and are free to download. They are supplied alongside the ZX and PZX gauge range for the Dakota Wireless Apps by BAMR, South Africa's authorised distributor.
