DakView 4 is Dakota's PC and Mac OSX software for managing data from its gauge range. DakView 4 is used with the data logging gauge models to transfer stored readings and custom setup files between the gauge and a computer, so inspection records captured in the field can be reviewed, archived and analysed on a desktop.
Transfer is bi-directional, meaning data can be pulled from the gauge for review and custom setup files can be sent back to the gauge to configure it for a given job. This keeps measurement records and gauge configurations consistent across multiple inspections and operators.
The software for the DakView 4 is free of charge and includes all future upgrades, with new releases issued periodically. The DakView 4 is compatible with both PC and Mac OSX. Supplied alongside the Dakota gauge range by BAMR, South Africa's authorised distributor.
