The Sagola 4120 Plus Air Regulator Filter - Stage 1 is a single-stage compressed air regulation and filtration unit that removes air, oil and particles down to 24 microns. Contaminated compressed air is one of the most common causes of paint defects: water, oil and particulate carried from the compressor reach the gun and spoil the finish, so cleaning and regulating the air before it gets there protects the coating, particularly for waterborne or high solids (HS) paints.

Filtration works in two stages of decanting. The friction of compressed air against the walls of the Sagola 4120 Plus Air Regulator Filter causes solid and liquid particles to fall to the bottom of the vessel. The air is then forced downward through a porous brass filter, where the increase in speed and the sharp change to an upward flow decants further liquid particles from condensation. Condensed liquids drain automatically, and a high quality analogue pressure gauge shows the regulated line pressure.

The Sagola 4120 Plus Air Regulator Filter is machined from a solid aluminium block for heavy-duty, long-service construction and mounts easily to a wall. Air flow at 7 bar is 2910 LPM, with a 12.7 mm BSP air inlet and 6.35 mm BSP air outlet, a maximum working pressure of 12 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 90 degrees C. It measures 97 x 117 x 279 mm without coupling and weighs 1.22 kg. It is available with Euro-Profile, US-MIL or NITTO coupling connections.
