
The Sagola 5050X Air Pre-Filter, Stage 1 (part numbers PT10720302, PT10720301 and PT10720303) is a single-stage air regulator filter for pre-filtration in industrial compressed air lines. Untreated shop air carries water, oil and solid particles that contaminate spray finishes and cause blemishes, so removing this contamination upstream protects the quality of any coating work that follows.
The Sagola 5050X Air Pre-Filter combines friction and centrifugal filtration. Compressed air first decants against the walls of the vessel, dropping solid and liquid particles to the bottom, then passes through an 8 micron porous brass filter in a downward flow that sharply reverses direction, decanting further condensed liquid. A semi-automatic draining system clears the trapped water and oil. The casing is machined aluminium for durability under continuous workshop use.
Specifications include air flow above 3000 LPM at 7 bar, a 12.7 mm BSP air inlet and 6.35 mm BSP air outlet, a maximum working pressure of 12 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 90 degrees C. The unit measures 114 x 119 x 339 mm and weighs 1.95 kg, and ships with the brass filter, a male BSPT 6.35 mm coupling and a support bracket. It is fitted at the outlet of medium compressors and at points where the line network changes height, and at booth inlets. Supplied by BAMR, South Africa's authorised Sagola distributor.
