Conventional 21EPA aircaps for the Sagola Classic PRO XD Gravity Spray Gun are offered in 1.4mm, 1.6mm and 1.8mm, all running at 1.5 to 2.0bar and 225LPM at 2bar; the 1.8mm delivers an average 179g/min with a fan up to 320mm at 18 to 20cm. The spray gun offers needle sizes from 1.4mm to 2.8mm. Use 1.4mm, 1.6mm, or 1.8mm for sanding surfacers; use 2.0mm, 2.5mm, or 2.8mm for filler coats. Larger nozzles increase output flow but require higher working pressure, 1.8 to 2.5 bar for fillers versus 1.5 to 2.0 bar for sanding surfacers.
What air supply requirements does the Sagola Classic PRO XD have?
Air consumption ranges from 155 to 355 LPM depending on the needle size and configuration. Working pressure for sanding surfacers is 1.5 to 2.0 bar; for filler coats, 1.8 to 2.5 bar. The air inlet uses a 6.35mm male BSP coupling.
Can I change the needle and nozzle kit to suit different products?
Yes, the needle and nozzle kit is removable. BAMR supplies needle kits in 1.4mm, 1.6mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm, 2.2mm, 2.5mm, and 2.8mm sizes as separate accessories, allowing you to optimise for your current product.
