The Sagola X 4100 Series Suction Spray Gun (part numbers PG10121001, PG10121006, PG10121003, PG10121007 and PG10121005) is a 1 litre suction-fed spray gun for high speed application with a high quality finish. Its size and weight have been reduced and its centre of gravity altered to cut operator fatigue, which matters on long jobs such as machinery and industrial vehicles where a heavy gun slows the work and tires the hand.

Control comes from three elements: a soft flow air valve that gives a consistent feel on the trigger at any air inlet pressure, a product regulator for fingertip adjustment of the amount of coating applied, and a progressive fan regulator to alter the pattern size. The Sagola X 4100 Series Suction Spray Gun carries a 1 litre aluminium suction cup, a 250 micron paint filter and a 6.35 mm male BSP air inlet. It weighs 895 g with the supplied cup and 502 g without, and measures 200 x 170 x 42 mm without the cup. Durable anodised aluminium aircaps resist corrosion in tough environments.

Interchangeable aircaps, needles and nozzles tune the gun to the coating. A 1.4 mm [96] setup suits basecoats at 2.0 to 2.2 bar, a 1.6 mm [96] suits clearcoats and single stage at 2.0 to 2.5 bar, and a 1.8 mm [96] suits primers and fillers, each consuming 280 LPM at 2 bar over an 18 to 20 cm application distance. The gun complies with ATEX II 2G x under Directive 2014/34/EU, carries a 3 year warranty and is supplied by BAMR, South Africa's authorised Sagola distributor.
