The Elcometer Screen Sieve (part numbers SCREEN-10, SCREEN-14, SCREEN-20 and SCREEN-24) is a steel sieve for abrasive blast machines, used to screen recovered blast media before it is returned to the machine. Contaminated or oversized media reduces blasting efficiency and clogs the system, so sieving the abrasive as it is loaded keeps the machine running cleanly. The Elcometer Screen Sieve is also built to sit outside the rim of the blast machine, which prevents rainwater from entering and degrading the dry abrasive.
The Elcometer Screen Sieve is manufactured from durable 6 mm high quality steel for years of service in a demanding outdoor environment. Four sizes of the Screen Sieve match the standard Elcometer blast machine diameters: 254 mm (SCREEN-10), 356 mm (SCREEN-14), 508 mm (SCREEN-20) and 610 mm (SCREEN-24). Each can be purchased individually, as a set or as part of the Elcometer blast kits.
The Elcometer Screen Sieve is used in abrasive blasting and surface preparation work across corrosion protection, marine and industrial coatings. The Screen Sieve is supplied by BAMR, South Africa's authorised Elcometer distributor.
