The Elcometer 653 Stainless Steel Pressure Tank (part numbers PP653SS-MA, PP653SS-RA and PP653SS-SA) is a 50 litre pressure feed tank for supplying solvent and water-based paints to spray guns under regulated pressure. A pressurised feed delivers a steady, controlled flow of material, which keeps atomisation consistent and allows one tank to serve two guns, suiting larger jobs where the higher 50 litre capacity reduces refilling.

The body and lid are stainless steel, with an upper outlet connection and a stainless steel 50L interchangeable tank. A double, high precision pressure regulator with discharge valve handles two spray guns, supported by an air pressure gauge reading 0 to 8bar and a product pressure gauge reading 0 to 4bar. Maximum inlet pressure is 4bar, the air inlet coupling is 6.35mm Male BSP and the product outlet connection is 9.52mm Male BSP. The Elcometer 653 Stainless Steel Pressure Tank works between 0 and 50 degrees C, measures 365 x 365 x 1028mm with the agitator fitted and weighs 45kg.

Three agitator options are available. The manual agitator is stirred by hand, the pneumatic rotary agitator keeps mixtures continuously stirred and homogeneous, and the pneumatic oscillating agitator makes alternate movements through 180 degrees for products containing solid particles that need constant mixing. A wheeled version is available. The tank conforms to ATEX CE II 2G T60ºC X for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Used in industrial finishing and coating application, it is supplied by BAMR, South Africa's authorised distributor.
