The TIME TCS-110 Haze Meter (part number TCS-110) measures the haze and total transmittance of transparent and translucent materials such as plastics, films, glass, LCD panels and touch screens. The TIME TCS-110 Haze Meter works to both ISO and ASTM standards and uses a 21mm test aperture for accurate readings.

Haze quantifies how much light scattering clouds an otherwise clear material, and it directly affects perceived quality on products like display screens, packaging films and optical sheet. Measuring it against recognised standards gives manufacturers an objective, repeatable figure for quality control and for agreeing specifications with customers.

The TIME TCS-110 Haze Meter reads across a 0 to 100 per cent range with both haze and transmittance resolution of 0.01 unit, taking a reading in about 1.5 seconds. The TIME TCS-110 Haze Meter uses a 400 to 700nm full spectrum LED light source, rated for a lifetime of up to 10 years, with A, C and D65 illuminants and a transmittance 0/D geometry through a Φ154mm integrating sphere. Haze repeatability is a standard deviation within 0.08, and transmittance repeatability is 0.1 unit or better. There is no limit on sample size, samples can be measured horizontally or vertically, and up to 20,000 samples are stored, with USB export and a 5 inch colour LCD screen.

The TIME TCS-110 Haze Meter conforms to ASTM D1003, ASTM D1044, ISO 13468, ISO 14782, GB/T 2410, JJF 1303-2011, CIE 15.2, GB/T 3978, ASTM E308, JIS K7105, JIS K7361 and JIS K7136.
