The Elcometer 12bar Blast Hose (BH13, BH19, BH25, BH32, BH38) is an anti-static abrasive blast hose supplied in 40m lengths and a range of internal diameters, so an operator can build a blast line to suit the application. Keeping a blast hose in good condition matters because a worn hose causes increased pressure losses as the air passing through becomes more turbulent, which reduces blasting efficiency.
The Elcometer 12bar Blast Hose is built for abrasion and static control. The inner wall is a natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, giving an abrasion resistance value of 50mm3 to DIN53516 and an anti-static rating of R<106 Ω/m, which dissipates static electricity to ground and protects the blaster from injury caused by static shock. A 2 ply cross-pattern braid of woven cord lining adds strength while keeping the hose flexible, and the abrasion resistant, anti-static outer cover with a cloth impression resists weathering and prolongs hose life.
All sizes of the Elcometer 12bar Blast Hose carry a maximum working pressure of 12bar and a maximum burst pressure of 36bar, and operate from -30 to +85°C. Internal diameters of 13, 19, 25, 32 and 38mm correspond to outside diameters of 28, 34, 38, 48 and 56mm, with minimum bend radii from 105mm to 305mm. - Tough Outer Cover Preserving the condition of an abrasive blast hose is essential to achieve optimal abrasive blasting efficiency. When a blast hose becomes worn, increased pressure losses take place as air passing through the blast hose becomes more turbulent. Manufactured using abrasion resistant and anti-static natural and styrene-butadiene rubber with a cloth impression, the tough weather resistant cover prolongs the life of the blast hose.
- 2 Ply Braid Reinforcement Elcometer blast hoses feature highly woven cord linings in a 2 ply cross pattern to improve blast hose strength and allow flexibility.
- Anti-Static and Abrasion Resistant Inner Wall The Elcometer blast hose is manufactured out of natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, has an abrasion resistance value of 50mm3 in accordance with DIN53516 and has an anti-static rating (R) of R<106 Ω/m. This dissipates static electricity to the ground to protect the blaster from injuries caused by a static shock.

Select by internal diameter requirement. The part numbers (BH13 through BH38) correspond to internal diameters of 13, 19, 25, 32, and 38 millimetres respectively.
