
The Elcometer 13mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension (BH13SB-10 / BH13SB-20 / BH13SN-10 / BH13SN-20) is an abrasive blast hose extension with a 13mm internal diameter, used when the main blast hose cannot reach the desired location. The Elcometer 13mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension is available in 10m or 20m lengths and carries a maximum working pressure of 12bar with a three times safety margin. An anti-static, abrasion resistant extension keeps the blasting circuit safe and durable when extra reach is added.
The hose of the Elcometer 13mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension is built around an anti-static, abrasion resistant inner wall made from a natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, giving an abrasion resistance value of 50mm cubed in accordance with DIN53516 and an anti-static rating of R less than 10 to the sixth ohms per metre, which dissipates static electricity to ground and protects the blaster from static shock. A 2-ply braid reinforcement of highly woven cord linings in a cross pattern improves hose strength while allowing flexibility, and the tough outer cover of abrasion resistant, anti-static rubber with a cloth impression resists weather and prolongs hose life.
The Elcometer 13mm ID 12bar Blast Hose Extension has an outside diameter of 28mm and a minimum bend radius of 105mm, and is supplied with cast iron quick couplings. The four part numbers differ only by length and coupling thread standard: the BH13SB options use BSP threads and the BH13SN options use NPT / NPSM threads. - Anti-Static and Abrasion Resistant Inner Wall The Elcometer blast hose is manufactured out of natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, has an abrasion resistance value of 50mm³ in accordance with DIN53516 and has an anti-static rating (R) of R<10⁶ Ω/m. This dissipates static electricity to the ground to protect the blaster from injuries caused by a static shock.
- 2 Ply Braid Reinforcement Elcometer's blast hose features highly woven cord linings in a 2 ply cross pattern to improve hose strength and allow flexibility.
- Tough Outer Cover The tough weather resistant cover prolongs the life of the hose as it is manufactured using abrasion resistant and anti-static natural and styrene-butadiene rubber with a cloth impression.
