The Elcometer MGV Mini General Valve (part numbers MGV-B for the PED version and MGV-N for the ASME version) is a compact abrasive metering valve that gives precise control of media for an even, regulated flow. A long life rubber liner makes it durable and quick to service, reducing downtime. Accurate metering matters because over-feeding wastes abrasive and uneven feeding spoils the blast, so a valve that can be adjusted in use and shut off completely keeps both consumption and surface quality under control.
The Elcometer MGV Mini General Valve carries a built-in media flow indicator and a rubber liner wear indicator, and is tested to a maximum working pressure of 15 bar. The operator can safely adjust media flow while blasting and achieve 100 percent abrasive shut off to cut wastage. The Elcometer MGV Mini General Valve is suitable for all media types: the design keeps the valve body out of the abrasive stream so that only the elcoTOUGH rubber valve liner contacts the media, and that liner can be replaced with just two bolts.
Used in surface preparation and abrasive blasting, the Elcometer MGV Mini General Valve suits compact machines where the larger General Valve is not required. Supplied by BAMR, South Africa's authorised Elcometer distributor.

Why protect the internal valve with a rubber liner?
Only the elcoTOUGH™ rubber liner contacts the abrasive stream, preventing erosion to the valve body and other components. This extends the valve's lifespan and maintains performance.

How much downtime does a liner replacement take?
The MGV Mini is fast and easy to service. The rubber liner and other parts replace quickly, minimising downtime during maintenance. The Mini Rubber Valve Liner (MGV-LINER1) and service kits are readily available.
What spare parts should I keep on hand?
Stock the rubber liner (MGV-LINER1), stem assembly (MT28541), and at least one service kit (MT30049, MT30046, or MT30051) depending on your servicing needs. Complete replacement assemblies are also available.
