Six ways the Elcometer MTG can help you perform quick and easy material thickness measurement on rail track
1. Taking Measurements
Taking measurements with the Elcometer MTG gauges is simple - just attach your probe and start scanning.
2. Stability Indication
The gauge's stability indicator identifies when the signal strength is reliable to ensure accurate measurements.
3. Transducer Wear
Elcometer transducers have a wear ring around the face, to extend the life of the transducer on rough or hard surfaces.
4. Pass/ Fail Alarm Limits
Set high and low limits with audible & visual alarms to highlight any tolerance failure.
5. Calibration
Calibration is usually based on the set steel velocity of 5970mS. However, Elcometer MTG gauges can also offer 1 point and 2 point calibration for a more accurate result as needed.
6. Connectivity
ElcoMaster® Software transfers measurement data direct from Elcometer's Bluetooth® or USB enabled inspection gauges direct to your PC, mobile or tablet.
