The Elcometer 7210 Pocket (x30) Microscope (part number KT007210M001) is a pocket-sized microscope with x30 magnification and a built-in light source, intended for close-up investigation of coating defects and surface cleanliness. On site, small defects such as pinholes, cracks and contamination are easy to miss with the naked eye, and catching them before a coating is signed off or a surface is overcoated prevents costly rework, so a portable inspection microscope is a practical field tool. The x30 magnification brings surface detail into clear view, and the integrated light source means the area under inspection is properly illuminated without needing a separate lamp. Its pocket size makes it easy to carry on site visits and quality inspections.

The microscope is powered by one LR03 (AAA) battery, measures 140 x 50 x 22 mm and weighs 68 g. Used by coatings inspectors and surface preparation teams, the Elcometer 7210 was supplied by BAMR, South Africa's authorised Elcometer distributor.
