The Elcometer 4695 Duplex Applicator Charts (part numbers K0004695M019, K0004695M103 and K0004695M303) are Leneta test charts originally made for use with a Duplex Film Applicator to produce side-by-side drawdowns rapidly. They now serve mostly as generic paint test charts for assessing coating appearance and opacity.

Side-by-side drawdowns let formulators compare two coatings, or the same coating at different stages, under identical conditions on one surface. This removes the variability of separate panels and makes differences in colour, gloss and hiding easier to judge directly. As general-purpose paint test charts, they provide a consistent, controlled substrate for routine quality and development work.

The charts are made from naturally bright, non-fluorescent white paper and contain no optical brighteners that could affect instrumental colour measurements. Both the Leneta Chart 6F6 and the Leneta Chart WF measure 76 x 184 mm and are supplied 500 charts per box (2.27 kg), with 6 boxes per case. Foil card substrates of steel, aluminium, glass and plastic are also available, and the charts can be used with the Elcometer 4340 Motorised Film Applicator.

They can be used in accordance with AS/NZS 1580.213.1, ASTM D344, ASTM D2805, ASTM D2486, ASTM D5150, ASTM D6441, BS 3900-D4, DIN 53162-2, FTMS 141 4121 and ISO 2814.
