The BEVS 1133U KU Viscometer offers simple operation, clear readings and stable performance, giving fast viscosity measurements for coatings, inks and paints. Its standardised design ensures accurate evaluation of fluid consistency and flow, making the BEVS 1133U well suited to both on-site and laboratory quality control.
The BEVS 1133U operates on the classic Stormer method, using a rotational measurement system. An internal motor drives the spindle at a constant speed while it is immersed in the sample; as the spindle rotates, the fluid's internal friction generates a viscous drag and counter-torque, with higher viscosity producing greater drag. A built-in torque sensor continuously measures the force needed to maintain spindle speed and converts it directly into Krebs Units (KU), displayed clearly on the digital screen.

The BEVS 1133U KU Viscometer measures the viscosity of coatings, inks and paints using the classic Stormer method. A motor drives the spindle at a constant speed while it is immersed in the sample, and a built-in torque sensor converts the resulting drag directly into Krebs Units on a 4-inch touchscreen. It suits both on-site and laboratory quality control.
- 4-inch high-definition touchscreen with ultra-fast response
- Multi-language display Chinese, English, German, Japanese and Russian
- Flexible design simple manual height adjustment
- Voice control capability
- Measurement report output
- Magnetic base for secure placement
When to choose the BEVS 1133U KU Viscometer
The BEVS 1133U reads Krebs Units directly, so it suits quality control settings where a fast, repeatable reading matters more than a full rheological profile.
- 1On-site quality control checks, not just the labThe magnetic base and manual height adjustment let it be set up directly on a sample coming off the line, rather than needing a bench setup.
- 2Keeping a batch-by-batch quality recordIt stores up to 1,000 measurement records and exports them over USB, so results can be kept as part of a batch's quality trail rather than only read off the screen and noted down by hand.
- 3Multi-language operationsThe touchscreen itself switches between Chinese, English, German, Japanese and Russian, which matters where operators on different shifts or sites do not share a first language.
