The Silicon Carbide Venturi Nozzle with Acetal Jacket is an abrasive blast nozzle range (part numbers MT28324-3C through MT28324-8N) used to direct and accelerate grit during abrasive blast cleaning of steel and other surfaces. Nozzle wear is the main running cost in blasting, so a liner that holds its bore and an outer jacket that survives knocks and drops together extend service life and keep blast patterns consistent.

The silicon carbide liner gives impact resistance and durability while keeping the Silicon Carbide Venturi Nozzle lightweight, which matters during long shifts. The acetal jacket adds high impact protection for the dropped-nozzle reality of site work, and the prolonged lifespan makes the Silicon Carbide Venturi Nozzle suited to harder abrasives such as chilled iron and aluminium oxide. Each Silicon Carbide Venturi Nozzle is supplied with a rubber gasket for sealing to the blast hose coupling.

The venturi bore design of the Silicon Carbide Venturi Nozzle covers nozzle numbers 3 to 8, with orifice diameters from 4.8mm up to 12.5mm, lengths from 140mm to 235mm, and a common 32mm entry diameter, allowing the Silicon Carbide Venturi Nozzle to be matched to compressor capacity and the job. The range of the Silicon Carbide Venturi Nozzle conforms to the European Union PED and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers ASME requirements for the contractor and NPSM thread versions respectively.
