The Tungsten Carbide Straight Bore Nozzle with Aluminium Jacket (part numbers MT29472-2F to MT29472-8F) is an abrasive blast nozzle for close up cleaning of small parts in sandblasting work. A straight bore produces a tight, concentrated blast pattern, which suits detailed work where a wide spray would be wasteful or imprecise.

The Tungsten Carbide Straight Bore Nozzle is built from a tungsten carbide liner encased in an aluminium jacket. Tungsten carbide resists the constant erosion of abrasive media passing through the bore, while the aluminium jacket offers the greatest resistance to impact or flexing, so the Tungsten Carbide Straight Bore Nozzle survives the knocks of site use. Each Tungsten Carbide Straight Bore Nozzle is supplied with a rubber gasket and is suitable for use with the Elcometer 1020 Abrasive Blast Machine.

Six bore sizes are available for the Tungsten Carbide Straight Bore Nozzle, all sharing a 45mm length and a 13mm entry diameter, so an operator can match the Tungsten Carbide Straight Bore Nozzle to the job. The #2 (MT29472-2F) has a 3.2mm orifice for the finest work, rising through 4.8mm, 6.35mm, 8mm and 9.5mm to the #8 (MT29472-8F) at 12.5mm. Larger orifices pass more abrasive and clear larger areas, while smaller orifices give finer control on intricate parts.
