The Protimeter BLD5777 Reachmaster Pro is a non-invasive moisture meter for the rapid assessment of moisture conditions in buildings, built to reach floors, hard to reach walls and ceilings without ladders or working on hands and knees. Initial moisture surveys can add significantly to inspection time, and the telescopic design makes those measurements quicker and safer while keeping the operator on the ground.

The instrument splits into a sensor head and a tilt-adjustable colour display that communicate wirelessly. The telescopic handle adjusts from 685 mm to 1219 mm, and the sensor takes instantaneous non-invasive readings over a measurement range of 60 to 999 ppm. Depth of measurement runs to roughly 70 mm minimum and up to 120 mm, varying with the material under test, and surface moisture does not adversely affect the reading. The colour display shows red, yellow and green zones, with an audible alarm, adjustable sensitivity to home in on a moisture source, auto shut-off and a multi-language menu. Simple field recalibration and user firmware upgrades keep it current.

The display unit takes 4x AA batteries and the sensor head 2x AA, giving around 80 hours of continuous operation. The replaceable sensor wear plate includes a wear indicator and one spare.
