The MontiPower Electric Double Bristle Blaster, part number SE-1300-W-BMC, is a hand-held electric surface preparation tool that produces a surface roughness comparable to grit blasting, without grit. The MontiPower Electric Double Bristle Blaster is used to remove corrosion, coatings, mill scale and other contaminants and to generate an anchor profile in one operation, which matters because a clean, correctly profiled substrate is what allows a coating to bond and resist early failure. The bristle blasting method does this while removing contaminants without removing healthy parent material.

The MontiPower Electric Double Bristle Blaster generates anchor profiles ranging from 2.5 to 3.3 mil, including on weld seams, edges, around bolts and on surface irregularities where conventional blasting struggles. It restores corroded and pitted surfaces to a near-white or white metal appearance with no grinding or polishing during operation, and treats around 3 square metres per hour per belt per operator. Beyond cleanliness, the process of the MontiPower Electric Double Bristle Blaster generates compressive residual stress in the treated surface, which improves crack growth resistance, fatigue life and corrosion resistance. The Double version includes a safety switch and rope access ability for work at height.
